Something I’m seeing more and more of are brides (and bridesmaids) coming to me, telling me they purchased a dress 3 sizes too small and are using that as motivation to lose the weight 😳. So on that note, I would just like to say that you are perfect just the way you are ladies. Whatever size, whatever shape, you’re perfect. He thinks so, I think so, we all think so. Buy a dress that fits, and save yourself from this added stress. ⠀

Rather than motivating ourselves to SQUEEZE into dresses that DO NOT FIT, gasping for breath all damn day, losing circulation to our limbs, and truly feeling more like a Christmas ham than anything on our perfect wedding day.... OH, and let’s not forget that special moment when the photographer asks you to SIT DOWN and put your shoes on...😳...let’s strive to FEEL AMAZING. Let’s strive for glowing skin and luscious hair we can look back at in photos and feel proud of, things you absolutely cannot get from calorie deficits and low fat, depriving diets. And yes, of course, the thought of shedding a few pounds before the big day is great! And this is something that just comes NATURALLY when you do things RIGHT! It’s like an added side effect of nourishing your body properly. If it comes down to squeezing into a size 2 dress with thinning hair and shit skin, I’ll go up a few sizes for thick luscious hair and glowing skin every time.⠀
